Butterfly prints are one of big trend of this season.
I saw many labels release butterfly print dress.
Butterflies are change to egg→larva→pupa→imago.
This life cycle enchant people as everlasting life and regeneration.
Tohoku area has been affected by huge earthquake.
I believe they will resuscitation their hometown as butterfly.

アレキサンダー・マックイーンのコレクションを思い出しました。
バタフライプリントは今春夏のトップトレンドのひとつ。
いろんなブランドで見かけたよ。
日本において蝶は卵から幼虫、さなぎ、成虫へと変化する優美な姿が
再生と不死不滅の象徴として愛されてきました。
今回の震災で大きな被害を受けた、東北地方。
また蝶のように再生し、美しい姿を取り戻して欲しいです。

着物からリメイクする一番の特徴は、
裾の柄がイレギュラーに入ること。
柄がこういう風に入るのってキモノだけなのだよ☆
(ただ、柄の配置にいつも苦労するけど・・)
そして、メインになる蝶には金刺繍が施されてとても豪華。
スタイルは裾が広がったマーメイドシルエット。
