TUMUGI Kimono Remake Ruffle One-Shoulder Mini Dress

It's been ages since last time!!

This kimono textile called TUMUGI.

TUMUGI kimono is wore for regular outfit. (not for special occasions)

Soft, light and crisp silk textile is the characteristic of TUMUGI.

これは紬の羽織。

紬は普段使いのおしゃれ着として着られるものです。

（どんなに高価でも結婚式やお茶会などには着て行けないのです。）

柔らかくて軽いけれど、張りのある絹生地が特徴でもあります。 

Isn't it nice pattern looks like snow crystals?

I'm attracted  this vivid blue and yellow coloring.

Closely see this, you can see fine geometric pattern.

この織り模様が雪の結晶のようでステキでしょ？

鮮やかな青と黄色のコントラストに惹かれました❄❄❄

よく見るととっても細かくて繊細な幾何学柄です。

You will sense of feminine when you wear one-shoulder dress.

Curvy silhouette and mini skirt makes you super sexy!!

着るだけで女度をアゲてくれるワンショルダードレス。
ボディ部分も女性らしいＳカーブが作れるような
タイトなシルエットに仕上げました。

The ruffle with three layers are gorgeous.

Vintage Flower-Shaped Rhombus Pattern Kimono One-Sleeve Maxi Dress [Violet×White]

This is a vintage kimono made in the Showa period.(about 60years ago)

It's just like a vintage kimonos of soft silk texture.

昭和初期位のヴィンテージのお着物。

ヴィンテージ着物ならではの柔らかい絹の風合いがとても良い肌触りです。

Peal white flower-shaped rhombus pattern on chic violet color kimono.

Four petals designed for the rhombus shape.

This design was created in the Heian period(794-1185) and still popular pattern now.

This geometric woven pattern called "Interlocking Swastikas".

落ち着いた桔梗色に白鼠色（しろねずみ）で描かれた花菱紋。

四弁の花文をひし形に図案化したものです。

この花菱紋は平安時代に考案され、現代においても人気の柄。

うっすら見える地紋も紗綾形（さやがた）と言われる、幾何模様で凝ってます。

Lots of designer use this pattern, not only for kimonos.

Imagine that this "Flower-Shaped Rhombus" pattern created 1200years ago, WOW!!

お着物だけでなくお洋服にも見られる柄ですね。

1200年以上も前にデザインされてた柄だなんてスゴイ！！

I presented this style as a "One-Shoulder Dress", and now I changed to

"One-Sleeve Dress".

Asymmetry design with bare shoulder to arm is sexy.

Floor length maxi dress style add elegance mood, too.

今までワンショルダー、としてきたのですが片袖ドレスということで

ワンスリーブドレス、としてご紹介させて頂きます。

アシメトリーなデザインで出したデコルテから腕がとってもセクシー。

床まで届くマキシ丈がエレガントさもプラスしてくれます。

It's glow with silver thread and apt for formal party.

ウエスト・ポイントには銀色の帯から作った、リボンベルト。

Japanese Summer and Goldfish

This time, a bit different intent about ..

"Art Aquarium" at Nihonbasi.

There were no air conditioner at EDO period.

BUT

Cool down with seasonal food like a watermelon or a shaved ice.

Wearing YUKATA or JINBEI to keep oneself cool.

The smell of stick of incense.

The sound of wind bells and cicadas.

And eye catching fireworks and goldfish.

We use one's brain for enjoying five senses in the hot summer.

今回は趣向を変えて・・。

先日行ってきた、アートアクアリウム展＠日本橋三井ホール。

とってもステキだったので、まだの方は是非。

冷房などなかった、江戸の夏。

スイカやかき氷、旬の冷たいものでカラダを冷やす。

浴衣や甚平を着て縁側で涼む。

傍らには蚊よけの線香の香り。

風鈴の涼しげな音。

そして目で見て楽しむ、花火や金魚。

冷房なんてなくても知恵を絞り、五感を使って涼む日本の夏っていいな。

初めて見るような、珍しい金魚さんたちがいっぱい。

Floating around in the aquarium with gorgeous big tail fin.

 大きな尾びれをくゆらせて優雅に泳ぐ金魚。

An impressive big red head goldfish looking at me!! WOW.

 大きな赤い頭が印象的な金魚。

すごいカメラ目線、頂きましたー！

This is the biggest goldfish bowl in the wold in 1000 goldfish.

This installation's images from a red-light district in EDO with OIRAN.

Gorgeous with Japanese lantern.

 世界一大きな金魚鉢に入った1000匹もの金魚。

これは、江戸の遊郭と花魁をイメージしたものだそう。

ワタシも花魁道中やってみたい～！！

 とにかく巨大。

　

The shapes like a diamond.

The water refraction makes mysterious goldfish shapes.

ダイヤモンド形の水槽。

屈折した中に映る金魚が不思議な形で映りこんでくる。

Some triangular stick into the aquarium!

Look into it...

 大きい水槽に透明な三角柱が刺さってる！

のぞいてみると・・・

It's a kaleidoscope when the goldfish pass through.

I'd never get bored with kaleidoscope when I was a kid. 

金魚が通るたびに様々な模様を映し出す、万華鏡に。

万華鏡っていつまで見てても飽きなかったなぁ。

I have a dream to have gorgeous goldfish

 in wooden flame goldfish bowl like in Japanese costume drama.

大奥とかに出てくる、木枠の付いた金魚鉢で金魚を飼うのが夢なのだ！

（あれってどこに売ってるんだろ～？？）

優雅に涼んだついでにでっかい抹茶パフェ、食べちゃった❤

 濃茶の抹茶わらび餅が絶品でしたな。

また食べたい～❤

Vintage JYUBAN Gold Crane Print Back Slit Maxi Dress [Vermilion]

It's very very soft chiffon textile.

Gold crane printed on crane jacquard vintage kimono.

とっても柔らかい、絹地のヴィンテージの襦袢。

鶴の地模様の上に金箔の鶴が描かれたもの。

I just have only 36cm×600cm of this textile and use it all.
Slender style maxi dress with long slit.
Sexy, isn't it??

これは生地自体が少なくて36cm×600cmしかなかったのを
最大限に使って、スレンダーなマキシドレスに。
後ろの深いスリットがセクシーでしょ？？

Big tied bow on the left shoulder with simple satin belt.
(I just put on a big cordage..)

左肩には結んだ、大きなリボン。
ウエストにはシンプルなサテンベルトを。
（アクセントでコサージュを付けちゃったけど・・）

With gold mini pochette.

小物はゴールドのミニポシェットを。

I love my block chocolate gold clutch bag.

ブロックチョコレートみたいなクラッチバッグは私のお気に入り。

I'll take simple black heels.

サンダルは黒のシンプルなのがいいかな。

Don't for get to take fluffy far shawl.

Vintage Fuchsia Pink Floral Print Kimono Remake Tight mini One-Piece

It's toooo HOT and have been bunk off...

So I forgot my closet in a nice vintage kimono!

Black and dark blue thread jacquard organdie look silk material.

Very crease-resisting material.

毎日暑くって、すっかりさぼりがち。。

でも、こんなヴィンテージのステキな着物があったことを忘れてた！

黒と碧の糸で織られた偏光ブラックのオーガンジー風の絹地。

適度な張りがあって、とってもいい生地。

Gorgeous fuchsia pink on black coloring is my favorite☆

Not sure about the prints but looks plum trees and cherry blossoms.

 華やかなフューシャピンクのプリントが華やか☆

柄はよくわかんないけど、梅とか桜みたいなカンジかしら。

Finally finished making this dress.

I'm going to wear this dress from this late summer heat to autumn.

Tight silhouette without zipper.

2-tucks on each shoulder makes small detail.

そして、

 まだまだ残暑厳しい夏から秋にかけて着るミニドレスがやっと完成。

タイトなシルエットだけどファスナーなしで着られる、

こだわりサイズに。

肩のところでタックを取ることによって、ディテールもプラス。

I like this V-neck line. It's very BEST.

Ｖネックの深さもちょうどイイかんじに♡

It's original design SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS on satin ribbon belt.

(Takes long time to make!)

Would be kawaii tie a bow backward.

ベルトは太リボンとスワロフスキーを贅沢に使ったオリジナル。

（何気に作るのにすごく時間がかかった！）

結んだリボンを後ろにもってきてもカワイイはず。

Gonna wear with long knit cardigan and studs belt.

Looks different impression!

普段使いにはざっくりニットのカーディガンとスタッズベルトで着てみよう。

スタッズが付いたハードなベルトだと印象もがらりと変わるかも！

Got in AUS a chain pochette with fuchsia pink corsage.

せっかくなのでトータルコーディネートも。

オーストラリアで買った、チェーンのミニポシェットに、

ドレスと同色のコサージュで統一感を持たせてみる。

And luckily got a pair of ASH sandals at summer sale!

Love the gladiator style with pin heels☆

足元はセールで見つけた、ASHのサンダルで。

グラディエーター風のハードな印象が辛口でお気に入り☆
